Our Services

NSW Regional Biospecimen and Research Services offers a broad range of services to assist academic researchers, cooperative research groups and industry partners. These range from the biomedical research services offered through our immunohistochemistry and tissue micro-array core facility and biobanks, through to sample processing and support services for international, multi-centre clinical trials.

Our service is one of the few accredited and NSW Health certified biobanks in Australia to store FFPE, frozen tissue and blood for use by researchers.

The MHF Brain Bank incorporates the first adult Australian post-mortem brain donation program specifically designed for brain cancer samples, collected through rapid autopsy.
